We are taking part in the 2012 WildEndurance event and will be completing a 100km trek through the Blue Mountains to raise funds for The Wilderness Society.
The Wilderness Society (TWS) is a national, community-based, environmental advocacy organisation whose purpose is to protect, promote and restore wilderness and natural processes across Australia for the survival and ongoing evolution of life on Earth.

Heres a bit of trivia for you..
Normally a person's feet would account for 10 inches on the ground. Considering that one takes a stride of around 14 inches while stepping forward while taking big steps, it would normally take 1.5 steps to cover a distance of 1 meter. hence 15 steps would cover a distance of 10 meters and 1500 steps would cover 1000 meters i.e. 1 kilometer.
So just 150,000 Steps :)"
