Well we made it, we will never underestimate the Blue Mountains again, we will not say it was easy and definately was not a walk in the park but we all worked as a team to make it across the finish line on Sunday afternoon.
For our first ever Wild Endurance event, we crossed the line at 31hr and 31minutes.
A great effort by not only the team but also the support crew, you guys really stepped up and looked after us like princesses.
We appreciated all the support and kind words from everyone leading up to the event, throughout the event and also after it was all over.
The big question now is.... Will we do it again next year?
Hey guys
The count down is on and only 4 more sleeps to go until the challenge begins. Reality has set in for sure and nerves are definately kicking around in the stomach.
There is no more training we can do now, its just down to making sure our support crew turn up to meet us at the check points rather than drinking beer! Sorry boys, of course we have complete faith in you :)
For anyone who wants to keep track of our progress over the weekend you can do so via the Wild Endurance website - I will find out where exactly and add the link in.
We would like to say a special thanks to our sponsors so far, with their support and donations along with our friends and family, it makes this challenging event all worthwhile.

We can't believe that we only have 3 weeks until the big event, which really means 2 more weeks of training!
We have been walking through some spectacular scenery on our training walks, we hit The Royal National Park recently, typically on one of the hottest days possible.
This Thursday we are doing our first night walk to get us girls used to walking in the bush at night...not normally a good combination but we're giving it a go, so we'll give an update next week.
Off to the Blue Mountains this weekend to walk some of the tracks, get a taste of what we are really in for - lets hope we all come back without too many injuries from that walk.
Next installment and pics coming next week so watch this space...
We are taking part in the 2010 WildEndurance event and will be completing a 100km trek through the Blue Mountains to raise funds for the The Wilderness Society.
The Wilderness Society (TWS) is a national, community-based, environmental advocacy organisation whose purpose is to protect, promote and restore wilderness and natural processes across Australia for the survival and ongoing evolution of life on Earth.
Please DONATE by clicking on the button to the right and help The Wildnerness Society continue their work to protect the wildnerness for all of us and future generations.
